Molecular Diagnostics Lab
The underlying concept of our work is the realization that scientific research frequently advances with new methods and instruments. Currently, we are focusing on developing state-of-the-art molecular diagnostic tools for early cancer/metastasis detection and rapid identification of pathogens.
All the researches are carried out by close collaboration with other research teams in this institute and clinicians in local research hospitals. Many of the new research tools developed in our laboratory are through integration of interdisciplinary studies that cover broad scientific areas such as molecular biology, cell biology, immunochemistry, laser spectroscopy, chemistry, computer science, and electronic detection technologies. Our laboratory provides a forum of interaction for people of different academic trainings and technologies of different scientific fields.
